You may have heard of a children’s book entitled, "The Giving Tree." It is the story of a lit-tle boy who plays on a tree, eating its apples and swinging on its branches. And the tree is happy to provide pleasure to the boy. When the boy gets older, he wants toys instead, so the tree tells him to cut its branches to make them, and the tree is once again happy. Later, the boy wants a house so he can get married and settle down; the tree tells him to cut more and the tree is happy. .....

As I am sure you know by now, the Board of Directors held its regular monthly meeting at the Senior Center (its last as we are in our temporary home) with the main topic being relocation. Congregants were encouraged to share their viewpoints regarding rental vs. pur-chase. .......
